5 Dec 2016 – Schedule Review 2016

For the schedule review 2016, we have added more than thirty flights to our schedule, strengthening the coverage of the network with our diverse fleet, which means pilots have more choices of aircraft type for each flight.

New destinations include Hiroshima, Niigata, Madrid, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, Houston, Washington, Miami, Atlanta, etc. For all amendments in details please refer to our latest NOTAM.

Although our A340-600 will be retired due to low usage, to need our pilots’ request, please join me in welcoming our newest aircraft A321 and MD-11. A321 will serve the regional routes such as Xiamen, Seoul & Nagoya; while MD-11, our first three-engine wide-body passenger aircraft, will connect between Hong Kong and Singapore, Narita (Tokyo), Taipei, Vienna, etc.

With its capability to accommodate up to 185 passengers, A321 has been adopted by more than one Hong Kong-based airline in real world, and in the world of flight simulation, A321 has been seriously simulated by Aerosoft add-on. The team is confident that adding A321 will further satisfy our Airbus pilots, together with the existing A319 and A320.
